1. MOGUL ARCHITECTURE
I. Introduction
The birth of mogul architecture can be attributed to the country India. This architectural style was actually brought to India
by the Muslim Mogul emperor who came from the West Asia and ruled India for 300 years. During the reign of the Mogul
empire, the many buildings that were constructed epitomise the definition of mogul architecture. Among the buildings in
India that typically symbolises this style are the Taj Mahal in Agra, the Moti Mosque in Delhi, the Jami mosque, the Red Fort,
etc.
II. Characteristics
In Malaysia, mosques are generally the perfect examples of Mogul architecture. Several of its prominent characteristics are;

V. Plentiful sub-domes
