done to remember the disappearance of a child of a Dutch dignitary, who allegedly disappeared while playing
near the rock. The Dutch people liked the idea of the tiger story, but the more likely explanation is that the
girl was abducted by disenchanted locals.
Other carvings that can be found are the letters " IK", "R.O", "BVH", "PVL", "VM.", "PP.", "MA." These letters
are most probably the initials of those who carved the stone and probably carved up in the year 1743, as it
was written on the stone.

This fort was built by the Dutch in 1670 for storage and protection of tin supplies from Perak. This fort was rebuilt
disbanded and the fort abandoned. This fort was reconstructed by the Museum Department in 1973.
