Actually. Both countries are worth visiting. But. If we really have to choose one. It would be Malaysia. Maybe because this page is focused on Malaysia. So we are a little biased. But. Malaysia compared to Thailand is a lot less touristy. Which could be good or bad, depending on what you are looking for. But with that being said. There is no wrong answer here. Both countries have plenty to offer tourists!

There are a lot of differences between Malaysia and Thailand. The main difference is the number of tourists each country receives. Meaning, more people are visiting Thailand than there are going to Malaysia. But with that being said, both countries have plenty to offer any traveler! You can fly to either Malaysia or Thailand from the UK. It just depends on which country you want to visit first!

What is the weather like in each place throughout the year ?

The weather is pretty much the same in both countries throughout the year. But with that being said, Malaysia does get a little hotter during the summer months while Thailand tends to be a bit chilly at night. Especially in the northern part.

If you’re looking to visit both countries on one trip, then we would recommend at least two weeks. That should be enough time to see the highlights of each place. But again, it really depends on what you want to do and see while you’re there!
